{NEW FASHION BUY} 1960's MOD DRESS!

Today I finally went shopping and gave my driving lessons a rest (going for my P's on friday, wish me luck!) and found something I had been looking at for a while {well actually my new obsession}, actually 1960's fashion has always been something I always wanted but now I have started to study it further and want to own a couple pieces of my own. Now I like the whole decade of the 1960's fashion except for the end, where it begins right into the 70's. Anyways I once again saw the pair of shoes I had had my eyes on for a while but once again didn't buy but for sure will next time because I bought a dress that suits it quiet nicely (and I will wear for uni!).

I was on my way out of the shops until I spotted something from the window of a ladies wear shop, something mod, so I rushed in and couldn't believe my eyes I had found a mod dress without even trying and it was only $20. Boy way I in luck today. So here's a picture I took of it on instagram.

(please excuse my sisters' messy room hahaha)

DIY Wednesday- Decor {Door Garland}

Recently moving into a new house, my boring plain room needed some decorating, I had found so many garland designs and decided to make one for my self, only something simple. But as I made one I thought why not also make a DIY tutorial to share my experience with others on how simple it is to make, although it is a little time consuming; measuring and cutting, it is well worth it!

Steps:
 1. First start with any pattern print page (it doesn't matter which pattern because there is no particular order) Divide the page into 3 equal segment using a ruler and pencil mark a dot every 7cm across the page and

New Fashion BUY{New Blue printed button up shirt}

A few days ago I went for a shopping trip and found this wonderful looking chambray shirt only for $17 at Kmart, it sure is something different to what I usually wear, but I thought it can't hurt to try something new, right? The light denim blue colour and white cross design print was something nice and I found I could wear it with many things :)

My sister and I also took a mini photoshoot in the backyard I was going for something sad and serious and then my sister got bitten by a million mosquitoes.

22/November, marks the 50th anniversary since the JFKennedy assassination, here's a collage in memory of the beautiful Jackie O& JFK and Jackie's wonderful style.The Kennedy has become of a great interesting topic for me, I recently went to the library and bought a pile of books on the Kennedys and bought the book 'These few precious few day'- The final year of Jack with Jackie' by Christopher Andersen, I'm only at the beginning but it is written very well, it really captivates the reader, into the early events of the 1960s. Also I have borrowed the book 'Mrs Kennedy and me' by Clint Hill, I just love that book, it is also written very well and is very interesting as you get an outside view of the Kennedy's and the friendship between them it just lovely :) I do strongly recommend them to anyone interested in the Kennedy's.

DIY {home decor} Vintage -looking- lamp

Today I just finished school! So now having so much free time on my hands, so I thought it was time to decorate my room, I have found so many inspirations but due to limited resources, I have been unable to do much, so I thought of a DIY to do with things I did have, decorate my lamp with a vintage look.

You Will need:
- Liquid paper                                     - a lamp (that has a hard surface to be written on)

I'm BACK!

To be honest I have no idea where to start, I have so much to talk about (feels just like my english exam- trying to start my creative story, so many ideas, that I didn't know where to start), warning this post is going to be long... :)
School ended so much quicker than I expected, I'm upset about in a way but also happy. Much has occured in my last term, trial exams, graduation, formal (talk more about later) and the HSC itself. But since its finally over I can go back to doing the things I love most; watching tv and reading books and obsessing over everything -TUMBLR!- I am so very excited, which I sacrificed for studying;

------------------------>reading books
----------------------------------------->watching tv shows
----------------------------------------------------------------->blogging
---------------------------------------------------------------------------->tumblr

I have become so behind in reading, that many new books have been released from the series I'm readings this is how long the list goes:

I'll be back...in 6 months

Due to hsc time I have decided to stay focused on school only, therefore I have to put blogging off for the time being, but not only blogging other things too. 'Be a nerd for 6 months & have no life and get good results, after that then get your life back' so farewell for now, but I will be back with new exciting things such as my new clothing line and a new makeover of my blog, DIYs and much more... Bye for now not forever.

Last week I got a fringe...

I've been told that getting a fringe was out of the question, for two reasons:

> a cowlick
                                                                    > a small forehead (something I don't really like to talk about)

But I wasn't going to give up until I got one, so I decided to show the hairdresser a picture. This being the picture:

Hannah Simone "New Girl"

And all she said was "okay" and I couldn't believe my ears and with that she cut it. After that I have been very happy, all I've recieved since I got it was compliments and at one stage I was unrecognisable by my friends :) My only problem is keeping it together because of the cowlick it keeps flicking the hair away. But the solution to that is blow drying it, I've tried straightening it, it looked fine but it's harder to keep the fringe together.

Yesterday I bought...

I'm known to be a shopaholic, the second I recieve money I spend it. (I have no idea how to save). So yesterday I bought (and I always happen to find specials) 2 lace up flats for the price of 1, each pair usually being $15, I got each for $7 (saving $1), I think the aqua ones match with my new jeans and the dark blue will go with dark coloured jeans. Recently my dark brown shoulder bag had ruined, so I thought why not get a new one (and I can also use it for school), this I bought it for $15 from $25 and last and not least my floral jeans which I love, I got them at $10 from $24. I found so many other things but I thought that was enough for one day.

BOSS orange GLASSES

I got some glasses at the end of last year because they reduced some of my headaches and I could see better in general. I tryed on so many, I have no idea how the old Asian man who was letting me try them on, had so much patients, I tryed on about 20 pairs and in the end I chose one and got free sunnys which I gave to my mum. ( By the way the girl in pink is one of my younger sisters- you can see a bit of my piano behind her).
