Feature- Hold Your Horses
I’m sure every girl can agree that seeing someone else wearing the same outfit as you is a worst nightmare come true and with mass produced products and brands being sold in popular stores, it isn’t an uncommon situation to be stuck in. We all know that the awkward “Hey, nice dress…” comment is really just a cover up for the underlying feeling of frustration and the secret promise you make to yourself that you will never wear that dress again.
This is what sparked a small fire within 18 year old Australian student, Lima Rose, who felt that she and every other woman should be able to wear quality clothing that no one else in the world owned. With her newfound feeling that she had to make a difference, backed by years of knowledge about the clothing industry, came the arrival of her own fashion label Hold Your Horses. Together with her mother, they share over 40 years’ experience designing, pattern-making and sewing exclusive garments for high end designers, manufacturers and private clientele. Their aim is simple: to create top quality, one-off or limited edition garments at affordable prices.
Founded in mid-April 2012 as a Facebook store, their fan base has rapidly grown to around 1,200 likers from all around the world – and it is still growing. HYH then opened their online Storenvy store in June, creating a market largely in the U.S.A. and Europe. In the future, they hope to stock garments in local stores or in a small store of their own.
Their amazing creations range from dresses, to vintage recreated shorts, to onesies, with prices for their products being anywhere between $4AUD and

Get Smart Get Inspired
Polyvore displays clothing of great price but why buy at expensive prices, when you can purchase similar or exact products for a cheaper and more convenient price. This is a typical outfit I would wear; casual and for any occasion (except for for the handbag, I'm not really a fan of, I would have a over-the-shoulder bag but this one fit the collage). Winter is here and it's freezing everyone to death (and making everyone sick) but when you are wearing the right clothing you can stay warm. The source of my inspiration is from Get Smart not from agent 99, but from Maxwell Smart's trench coat he sometimes wore. (below collage)

Sewing Floral 60s
I love the 60s and find it as a very inspirational fashion era, everything of the 60s was lovely. Have you wanted to go back in time just to wear the fashion of a particular decade? Well I have and do. I bought a sewing pattern, 'Butterick b5607', recently from spotlight and because I am still learning in sewing I bought an easy one, which specifically had easy labelled on the back, I read through the pattern instructions and when they said easy they really mean it. I collaged a source of inspiration for my self, I really want to create a bright and colourful dress which can be worn to any occasion. Well here is all the designs the pattern offer, it's really only two style of dresses but with extra features on each one:

I hope you guys like these shorts as much as I do. They are completely customizable and can easily be done with fabric or different colored lace.

5 winter essentials!
1.
Knitted jumpers
Meet winter’s most popular
fashion piece. There’s nothing more comfortable than a cozy knitted jumper
and it’s become an absolute must-have this cold season. The great thing about
them is that they come in so many different styles and colours – from light
pastel preppy ones to dark patterned drapey ones – so it’s impossible not to
find a perfect option for you. A soft cotton or wool jumper will look great
with almost everything so don’t be afraid to let your imagination run wild this
season and team them up with different textures, fabrics and patters. You could
pair a pastel blue knitted jumper with some floral trousers for a feminine
look. If you feel like going for something with a bit more edge, team a leather
skirt with a bright knit and add a thin belt at the waist – it’s right on trend
yet so comfortable.
2.
Faux-fur coats
