Leona Sutton (found on instagram)  has been wonderfully kind and offered to show me how to crochet with this easy to follow tutorial  with step-by-step picture. Thank you so much Leona!

Crochet is dead simple to pick up and a lot easier than knitting as you can easily correct your mistakes.  One of the most important things to remember when starting out is to keep tension on the wool - not too tight or too loose!
