Some of us obsessions/addictions to all sorts of things, I'm pretty sure everyone does. Just like my obsession with buying endless numbers of dresses and shoes at a consistent rate (that being every time we go shopping), my new addiction is buying sewing patterns. I recently found some really great stores at ArtFire; Sewinghappyplace (http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/sewinghappyplace) and TodaysTreasure (http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/TodaysTreasure), I couldn't limit myself to buying just one instead I bought 6 vintage patterns (and I don't think I'm finished). Here they are, I couldn't decide which one to buy, so I bought them all:
Vintage 60s Straight Flared Dress Pattern Size 12 Simplicity 5036
Dress Slip Overdress Pattern McCalls 8992 Size 12 Vintage 1960s
Misses Shirtwaist Dress Pattern Size 14.5 Mail Order 4627
Reserved - Shirtdress Scarf Belt/ 1970s Pattern/ Sleevless/ m2251
Jumper Blouse/ Wrap Skirt/ 1960s Pattern/ Front Panel Detail
and last but not lest (and of course not my last...there will be more hahahaha [evil laugh] esp because I will be making my formal dress these holidays)
A line Dress Jumper Blouse/ 1960s Pattern/ V Neckline w Collar Bow
I hope you enjoyed looking at the patterns as much as I enjoyed buying them! :) Just found some really great patterns and hoping I can buy them too, although I did use my b'day to buy these, I will also use my b'day money to buy my next ones. Stay tuned for my next post for the free pattern I found of a dress that looks just like Zooey Deschanel's one that she wears in New Girl. Here is a preview:
Until then...
Wow! I'm really jealous of your addiction! Love this last pattern that looks like Jess!
